FAQ
Q: What are your professional fees?
A: We do not have a set fee scale for commercial, rural or retail valuations. We believe that every commercial, rural or retail valuation instruction we receive is unique and therefore we prepare a fee quotation for you based on the specifics of the property concerned. The fee set will take into account the many unique factors of the specific property including the type of property, the size of the property, the purpose of the valuation and the type of report required.
Most residential valuations are a little less complex and therefore we are able to provide a competitive fee proposal without the detail required for a commercial valuation fee quotation.
If you would like a free proposal for a valuation please enter your details in our request valuation form.
Q: How long will it take to complete my valuation?
A: We aim to complete residential valuations in 2-4 days and we usually complete commercial valuations in 7-21 days. Understandably if access to a property or the provision of any relevant information is held up the time to complete a valuation will be delayed. If you would like to talk with us about your specific property please select find a valuer .
Q: How will you value my home?
A: Most valuations use comparable sales evidence as their starting point. So we will find sales evidence for houses similar to yours and use that information combined with the experience we have in this field to establish a value for your home.
Q: Are valuations you do for mortgage purposes conservative?
A: No. We provide a valuation of a property that reflects our opinion of what the property would sell for between a willing buyer and a willing seller. We do not discount our assessment of market value if the valuation is for mortgage purposes. To find out more about valuing your home please contact Daniel Sander.
Q: Do you value property across South Australia?
A: Yes we do. We are committed as a company to providing valuation services across regional South Australia.
Whilst our head office is conveniently located in Adelaide our Valuers travel extensively throughout South Australia to undertake valuation work. Most of the substantial valuation practices in South Australia do not have regional offices however as part of our commitment to provide valuation services across the State we have established offices in Whyalla and Mount Gambier. We also provide a weekly residential valuation service to the Riverland.
